Number 104: The Human League - I Love You Too Much

"I Love You Too Much" is a track from The Human League's 1984 release Hysteria. The album was a disappointment sales-wise, and lackluster promotion from the record company sank any chance it had to produce big hits. "I Love You Too Much" wasn't even released as a single, which just goes to show the general uselessness of label A&R men. One of my favorite Human League tunes, I have the song at #104.

  1. This tune was the result of the stalker from "Don't You Want Me" being served with a restraining order and being sentenced to probation if they apologized and confessed their creepy addiction via song

    1. It's a concept album! Except spread out over two albums.

    2. There was even a third album where the stalker returns to stalk his sexy prey in a submarine in her bathtub, then violates her mouth, and then turns into a fly. But no record company would release such crazy nonsense. This is until the Cars took the idea for the 'You Might Think' video
