Just Missed My Top 200: M - Moonlight And Muzak

Husband-and-wife duo Robin Scott and Brigit Novak - together better known as M - took the #101 spot on my Top 200 with "Pop Musik". Another great song from the same album (1979's New York, Paris, London, Munich) is "Moonlight And Muzak", a track that couldn't sound more different than "Pop Musik" if it tried.

With a languid groove and lounge-like vocal performances wedded to staccato beats and expansive synth washes, "Moonlight And Muzak" is a Cold War classic! While it flopped on the charts, it's always been one of my favorite M tunes.
