Number 72: Arcadia - Election Day
The time is the steamy summer of 1985. Duran Duran has broken up. Some of its remnants (Simon LeBon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor) have formed a new group, Arcadia. Their debut - and only - album, So Red The Rose, produces three singles: "The Promise", "Goodbye Is Forever", and their biggest hit: the song I have at #72 on this list, "Election Day".
Mood by Jean Cocteau .... Girls by Robert Palmer ... Hair by Poison .... Makeup by The Cure .... Horse heads by Don Corleone ... Set by Satan .... and yes that is William S. Burroughs at 1:48
