Just Missed My Top 200: Trans-X - Ghost

The Countdown to Halloween continues! Next up is "Ghost" by Trans-X.

Pascal Languirand's band grabbed a few spots on my Top 200 for songs including "Living On Video" (#165), "Through The Eyes Of The 90s" (#107), and my favorite of theirs, "Eyes Of Desire" (#3).

Another of the Canadian synthpop group's tunes that just missed making the list - but is perfect for the month of October - is "Ghost", from their 1988 LP On My Own. Although it was never released as a single, the track is great for getting alll the ghouls and goblins off their butts and onto the dance floor.

How about another spooky new wave tune?

...and now it's time for another bonus new wave (or in this case, punk) Halloween video!

Be back next week with a final creepy song that didn't quite make the list.

  1. Oh look, Trans-X are dressed for Halloween in their violent Euro-pimp and Ms. Jailbait 1988 costumes !

In Pet Semetary, pretty sure that is Debbie Harry doing a goth cameo at 0:54
